About Joseph Rivers Painting
Joseph Rivers Painting was built the same way many great companies start—without a grand plan, a corporate office, or a team of consultants. It started with a paintbrush, a strong work ethic, and a desire to build a better life.
When Joe Rivers started painting, he wasn’t thinking about building one of Central New York’s most recognized painting companies. He was a young father-to-be looking for a way to support his growing family while doing work he genuinely enjoyed. Painting offered something few jobs could: the freedom to control his own future, the opportunity to work alongside lifelong friends, and the satisfaction of transforming homes throughout the communities he grew up in. In the early days, it never really felt like work. A handful of friends from school spent their days painting houses, joking with one another, and taking pride in doing quality work. As the years passed, those same friends became foremen, leaders, and key members of a company that would grow far beyond anything they originally imagined.
Today, Joseph Rivers Painting has completed thousands of residential and commercial projects throughout Central New York and has earned more than 400 five-star reviews from homeowners who trusted the company with their homes. What began as a small hometown painting business has grown into a team of dedicated professionals serving communities throughout Cortland, Homer, Skaneateles, Fayetteville, Manlius, Syracuse, Ithaca, Norwich, Johnson City, Binghamton, Aurora, and beyond.
